1000’s of individuals gathered in central London on Saturday to look at a two-minute silence to commemorate Armistice Day.
Army officers and others held the silence on the eleventh minute of the eleventh hour to mark the top of the First World Conflict in 1918.
Army musicians performed the standard “Final Submit” whereas wreaths have been laid on the Cenotaph, the warfare memorial exterior Downing Avenue.
The memorial service was carried out peacefully.
