Residents on Ukraine’s frontline refuse to desert their houses

The Ukrainian village of Predtechyne has suffered enormously from the Russian invasion. Nonetheless, some residents refuse to depart their land.

Not a lot is left of the village of Predtechyne, located a few dozen kilometres from the frontline in Ukraine’s jap Donetsk area. 

 Most residents have evacuated to safer areas, however Oleksandr is among the 20 villagers out of 150 who selected to stay, regardless of the raging battle and troublesome residing situations.

His home has endured heavy shelling, and whereas his spouse sought security in a close-by metropolis, he stayed behind, now residing in simply two small rooms. 

A former welder, he is at present unemployed and depends on weekly deliveries of meals and necessities from volunteers.
