RUDRAPUR: The Indian Institute of Administration (IIM) Kashipur has achieved a 4-star ranking within the newest Establishments Innovation Council (IIC) record for 2022-23, as launched by the Union Ministry of Schooling. This marks an enchancment from its earlier 3.5-star rating.
The institute attributes this success to the devoted efforts of its incubation centre, the Basis for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Growth (FIED), which focuses on innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaborative actions.FIED’s impactful initiatives in agriculture expertise and agri-entrepreneurship have contributed to creating a sturdy innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Uttarakhand.
Prof. Safal Batra, managing director of FIED and chairperson of E-Cell at IIM Kashipur, mentioned that the institute is dedicated to nurturing a forward-looking and inspiring entrepreneurial tradition. A number of entrepreneurs, together with Himanshu Dua, founding father of My Pahadi Dukan; Kavita Negi, founding father of Kimalaya Naturals Personal Restricted and Mridul Jain, founding father of Vimaana Aerospace Applied sciences, acknowledged IIM Kashipur FIED as a key catalyst of their development journey.
IIC was established in 2018 by the Ministry of Schooling to advertise an innovation tradition throughout greater training establishments (HEIs) in India.
