The Worldwide Cricket Council (ICC) has determined to introduce a brand new rule named “cease clock” to control the time taken between overs. The legislation shall be carried out on a trial-run foundation from December 2023 to April 2024 in males’s ODIs and T20Is significantly.

The legislation states that ” If the bowling crew will not be able to bowl the following over inside 60 seconds of the earlier over being accomplished, a 5-run penalty shall be imposed the third time it occurs in an innings,” as talked about in a media launch issued by the ICC.
