Honda Automobiles India on Friday reported a 1 per cent improve in gross sales within the home market to 7,880 items in August. The corporate had dispatched 7,769 items to sellers within the home market in August final 12 months, Honda Automobiles India Ltd (HCIL) stated in a press release.
The corporate’s exports dipped 7 per cent to 2,189 items throughout the month from 2,356 items exported within the earlier 12 months, it added.
“The festive demand has been sturdy and continues to point out good momentum. The celebratory fervour, which started with Onam in southern India, will prolong to the remainder of the markets as we transfer in direction of the height of festivities within the coming months,” Honda Automobiles India Director Advertising and Gross sales Yuichi Murata stated.
