Explosion at coal mine in Iran’s north kills 6: Media

Tehran: An explosion at a coal mine in northern Iran has killed six staff, state media reported on Monday.
The blast befell in a tunnel at a depth of 400 meters (four hundred and forty yards) within the northern metropolis of Damghan, stated the official IRNA information company. It was not instantly clear what precipitated the explosion.
“Six miners have been trapped underground on Sunday when the coal mine explosion befell in Damghan,” IRNA stated.
Efforts to rescue the miners have been unsuccessful however the our bodies have been recovered Monday morning, it added.
