Bajaj Auto on Friday mentioned its complete automobile gross sales, together with sale of business autos, declined 15 per cent to three,41,648 models in August. The corporate had reported complete gross sales of 4,01,595 autos in August final 12 months.
The entire home gross sales dropped 20 per cent to 2,05,100 models within the earlier month as in comparison with 2,56,755 models offered in August 2022, Bajaj Auto Ltd mentioned in a press release.
Complete automobile exports fell 6 per cent year-on-year to 1,36,548 models in August from 1,44,840 models shipped to the abroad markets within the year-ago interval, it mentioned.
Its complete two-wheeler gross sales declined 20 per cent to 2,85,031 models within the earlier month from 3,55,625 models offered in August 2022.
Two-wheeler exports, nevertheless, elevated 2 per cent to 1,24,211 models in August 2023 as in opposition to 1,21,787 models in the identical month final 12 months.
